Set Sanat was founded in Istanbul in 2019. 

Set Sanat produced its first short film, by director Umut Evirgen, Fine Dying in 2019 which had its world premiere at 33rd Edmonton International Film Festival (Oscar Qualifying). The film was awarded the Special Jury award at Malatya IFF, Best Editing at Cluj Shorts FF and Short to the Point Film Festival. 

The company finished I am the Sea as its first feature film in 2020 which had its international premiere at 31st FilmFestival Cottbus. 

Its 2nd feature film Meeting Point was selected for the 37th Warsaw Film Festival. Both I am the Sea and Meeting Point were sold to Netflix.

Set Sanat's 3rd feature film project Mommy’s Lambie has been selected for the Ankara International Film Festival’s Project Development Platform and was awarded a government grant by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
